Ingredients

  • 2 loaves French bread or 6 individual loaves
  • 6 slices boiled ham (1/4-inch thick)
  • 6 slices salami (1/4-inch thick)
  • 1 package sliced Swiss cheese (8 oz.)
  • 1 package sliced Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)

Instructions

  1. Cut the bread lengthwise into thirds to create three pieces per loaf.
  2. Spread each bread piece with butter.
  3. Place one slice of ham, one slice of salami, and one slice of Swiss cheese on the middle and bottom slices of bread.
  4. Spread sandwich spread on the bread slices.
  5. Wrap each sandwich with foil.
  6. Place the wrapped sandwiches 3 to 4 inches from the fire on a grill or in a 350°F oven.
  7. Cook until the cheese melts, about 15 minutes.
  8. Serve and enjoy.
