Ingredients

  • 2 cups scotch or hulled barley
  • 6 cups skim milk
  • 1 cup chopped dried fruit
  • 1/4 cup barley malt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Combine all ingredients except fruit-flavored yogurt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture into a 6-cup casserole with a tight-fitting lid.
  4. Bake for about 2 hours, or until milk is absorbed and barley is soft.
