Ingredients

  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine flour and sugar.
  2. Make a well in the center of the mixture.
  3. Combine next 4 ingredients until moist.
  4. Spoon into greased and floured muffin pans, filling about 2/3 full.
  5. Bake at 400° for 12 to 14 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar (optional).
