Basic Ham Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 1 celery rib, halved and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons minced onions
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish (may sub diced sweet pickles)
  • 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 -2 teaspoon sweet pickle juice (optional)
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 hard-cooked egg, diced

Instructions

  1. Mix together ham, celery, onion and relish.
  2. Add mayo, pickle juice and pepper; mix well. If you want more mayo, add it 1 T at a time to the desired consistency.
  3. Gently fold in diced egg.
  4. Serve with crackers or on sandwich bread.
