Ingredients

  • 1 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1/3 c. salad oil
  • 1 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. Worcestershire
  • 2 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 4 drops Tabasco sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook onion in oil until tender.
  2. Add remaining ingredients; simmer 15 minutes.
  3. Cool; store in refrigerator or freezer.
  4. Makes 1 quart.
