Ingredients

  • 5 cups Japanese short grain rice
  • 5 1/4 cups water

Instructions

  1. Wash the rice thoroughly, then drain.
  2. Add 5 1/4 cups of water to the washed rice.
  3. Let the rice soak for 30 minutes.
  4. Cook the rice in a rice cooker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Once cooked, let the rice cool for 15 minutes before using.
