Basic Wine Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. white wine
  • 1/2 c. chicken stock
  • 1/4 c. heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In small skillet, melt the butter, stir in flour and cook a minute or two.
  2. Off heat, stir in the wine, stock and cream. Return to heat, stirring until sauce thickens.
  3. Serve over any wild fowl.
