Basil Pesto Sauce Over Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce Linguine
  • 1 1/4 c. Minced fresh basil paacked
  • 1/3 c. Chicken stock or possibly water
  • 2 Tbsp. Roasted pine nuts
  • 2 Tbsp. Parmesan chees
  • 3 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp Crushed garlic

Instructions

  1. 1.
  2. Cook pasta in boiling water according to package instructions or possibly till hard to the bite.
  3. Drain and place in serving bowl.
  4. 2.
  5. In food processor, puree basil, stock , pine nuts, cheese, oil and garlic till smooth.
  6. Pour over pasta and toss.
  7. Tips: chill sauce up to 5 days aahead, or possibly freeze up to 6 weeks.
