Ingredients

  • 2 Rock Cornish hens
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • corn oil or shortening (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Thaw Rock Cornish hens and quarter.
  2. Beat egg slightly and combine with milk.
  3. Gradually add to flour, mixed with salt; stir to a smooth batter.
