Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vinegar (90 grain)
  • salt
  • dill
  • garlic
  • hot pepper (optional)
  • cucumbers

Instructions

  1. Add 1 tablespoon salt to each jar, bring brine to boil. Pour over

  3. pack
  4. cucumbers
  5. with dill, garlic and a hot pepper (optional).
  6. Put

  8. hot
  9. bath until cucumbers change color. These stay crisp for a long time.
