Beef Cubes Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound round steak
  • 1 sm. onion
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • butter

Instructions

  1. Cut round steak into 1" cubes.
  2. Brown round steak in small amount of butter.
  3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper as needed.
  4. Chop onions and add in to beef cubes.
  5. After cubes are browned, add in 1 can cream of mushroom soup and about 1/2 to 3/4 cans of water.
  6. Add in Kitchen Bouquet till gravy is a rich brown color.
  7. Lower heat and simmer at least 1 1/2 hrs.
  8. Longer is better.
  9. Add in more water if sauce is too thick.
  10. Serve over noodles or possibly rice.
