Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil
  • 2 lb. beef tips
  • water
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Take 2 pounds of beef tips and cut into small cubes.
  2. In a frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of butter or oil and add the beef tips.
  3. Brown the beef tips with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Once browned, add 1 1/2 cups water, lower the heat, and cover the pan with a lid.
  5. Cook the meat until tender, then remove from the pan and set aside, leaving the liquid in the pan.
  6. Add 1 1/2 cups water and 4 to 5 tablespoons of Bisquick to the liquid and mix to form a gravy.
  7. Return the cooked beef tips to the pan and cook for an additional 15 to 20 minutes.
