Beef turnovers feature tender roast beef wrapped in flaky pie crust, baked to golden perfection, perfect as a hearty snack or easy appetizer for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Pillsbury all ready pie crusts
  • 1 lb sliced roast beef
  • 1 large jar Heinz brown gravy

Instructions

  1. Cut the pie crusts into 4 sections each, resulting in 8 pieces.
  2. Loosen the sliced roast beef and cut into 8 even sections.
  3. Place one section of pie crust on a baking sheet.
  4. Put one portion of roast beef in the center of the crust.
  5. Fold over the crust to enclose the beef and press the edges with a fork to seal.
  6. Make 3 slits on top of each turnover for steam to escape.
  7. Repeat with remaining crust sections and beef portions.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with heated Heinz brown gravy.
