Instructions
- Simmer 1 cup berries and 3/4 cup water in a saucepan for 3 minutes.
- Add 3 tablespoons cornstarch and 1 cup sugar to the berries. Cook until thick and clear (creamy).
- Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice and cool slightly.
- Pour the berry mixture over 1 1/4 cups to 2 cups fresh berries in a baked pie shell.
- Top with Cool Whip, if desired.
- Best eaten the first day.
