Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup rye flour
  • 1 cup graham flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup molasses
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. mix all together.
  2. pour into greased 1 lb coffee cans.
  3. fill more than a little more than 1/2 full.
  4. steam 4 hours.
  5. make good sandwiches for afternoon tea.
