Ingredients

  • 3 c. cabbage, shredded
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. Parker House rolls, thawed

Instructions

  1. Steam cabbage and onion until cabbage wilts and onion is transparent.
  2. Brown beef and drain.
  3. Combine onion, cabbage and beef; let cool.
  4. Meanwhile mash together 2 rolls and roll into circle.
  5. Put 4 tablespoons meat mixture on circle; draw up sides. Turn pinched side down.
  6. Place on greased cookie sheet, don't crowd.
  7. Let rise for 1 hour.
  8. Bake at 375° for 20 to 30 minutes. Yield:
  9. 12 rolls.
