Bill'S Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. fettuccine or linguine pasta ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil ⓘ
- 1 1/2 c. evaporated skim milk ⓘ
- 2/3 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. sliced green onion ⓘ
- 4 Tbsp. snipped fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried, crushed basil
- 1/2 tsp. finely shredded lemon peel ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. pepper ⓘ
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Drain; immediately return to pan.
- Add olive oil; toss to coat.
- Add milk, Parmesan cheese, onion, basil, lemon, garlic powder and pepper.
- Cook over medium heat until bubbly, stirring constantly. Season.
- Top with additional Parmesan cheese, basil and lemon slices.
