Instructions
- Use a large stewing pot.
- Fill the pot with enough water to cover the turkey.
- Put the whole turkey into the pot and turn on the burner high enough to bring the water to a boil.
- Once the water boils, set a timer for 1 hour, adjusting if the turkey is frozen or unfrozen.
- Boil until the meat on the wings is done and comes off the bone slightly.
- Remove the turkey from the pot and let it rest before carving.
- If stuffing is needed, prepare it separately in the oven.
- This method is for plain, unstuffed turkey.
