Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O brand gelatin (any flavor)
  • 2/3 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Dissolve gelatin completely in boiling water, stirring about 3 minutes.
  2. Add ice cubes and stir until gelatin is thickened, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Remove any unmelted ice.
  4. Using a wire whisk, blend in Cool Whip; then whip until smooth.
  5. Fold in fruit, if desired.
  6. Chill until mixture will mound, if necessary.
  7. Spoon into crust and chill for 3 hours.
  8. Garnish, if desired.
