Boston Butt

Ingredients

  • 1- 4 lb. Boston butt
  • 1/4 to 1/2 C Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 C brown sugar
  • 1 C apple juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Lightly grease casserole dish.
  3. Place Boston butt in bag and soak in the Worcestershire sauce for 30 minutes to two hours.
  4. Remove from bag and discard Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Coat with brown sugar pressing into meat.
  6. Place in baking dish.
  7. Add apple juice to pan (do not pour apple juice over meat). Cover tightly and place in oven.
  8. Turn temperature down to 200 and bake about 5 to 6 hours or until very tender.
