Ingredients

  • 5 egg yolks
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. sour cream
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 oz. liquor

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add salt to egg yolks.
  2. Beat until lemon color.
  3. Add sugar and liquor.
  4. Add sour cream and alternate with flour; mix well after each addition.
  5. Knead on breadboard.
  6. When you hear a crackling noise, keep kneading until shiny, blisters pop up and the dough doesn't stick anymore.
  7. Make into 3 balls.
  8. Roll out on a floured board.
  9. Cut the center and twist.
  10. Fry on a hot frying pan. Drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
