Braised Apples

Instructions
- In a bowl, toss apples, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg.
- In a non-stick skillet, heat butter and oil over medium heat.
- Add the apples and saute for 1 minute.
- Pour in cider, cover, reduce heat to medium-low.
- Simmer 12 to 15 minutes or until tender.
- Stir in ginger.
- Serve hot.
- Serves 4.
