- Sift dry ingredients together.
- Cut in shortening.
- Add buttermilk.
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Add to mixture. Blend lightly.
- Roll out to about 1/2-inch thickness and cut out. Dough may be stored in refrigerator or cut out and frozen.
- Makes approximately 5 dozen.
