Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, cut into pieces
  • soft butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Rub chicken pieces, halves or quarters, with soft butter or margarine.
  2. Place the chicken, skin side down, on a broiler rack.
  3. Position the broiler rack and pan so that the surface of the chicken is 6 to 8 inches from the heat source.
  4. Broil for 20 to 30 minutes.
  5. Turn the chicken, season, and brush with margarine.
  6. Broil for an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until browned.
