Ingredients

  • 2 fresh salmon steaks
  • garlic salt
  • one lime

Instructions

  1. Buy two salmon steaks from the fresh seafood section of the supermarket.
  2. Rinse the salmon steaks with cold water and pat dry.
  3. Preheat the broiler. If using a Jenn-Air, spray the grill with Pam.
  4. Lightly sprinkle both sides of the salmon steaks with garlic salt and squeeze fresh lime over them 15 minutes before cooking.
  5. Use more lime during cooking to prevent drying.
  6. Place the salmon steaks under the broiler and turn them at least twice during cooking.
  7. Broil for a total of 10 to 12 minutes until cooked through.
