Broiled Tilapia Fillets

Ingredients

  • 6 tilapia fillets
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon parsley, finely choopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon, cut into 6 wedges

Instructions

  1. Line the broiler pan with aluminium foil.
  2. Pat the fish dry then place it on the pan. Season both sides of the fish with the salt, pepper, oregano and parsley.
  3. Drizzle the fish with the olive oil then top with the garlic.
  4. Set the broiler and place the fish about 8 inches away. Cook until the fish is cooked through and flaky, about 8 minutes. (Time depends on the thickness of the fillets.) Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  5. Serve with the lemon wedges.
