Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 heaping tablespoon chicken soup base
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 can water chestnuts and liquid from them
  • little instant ginseng tea (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the chicken soup base, ginger, cayenne pepper, water chestnuts and their liquid, and optional ginseng tea.
  3. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Drink 1 cup four times a day.
