- Brown ground beef.
- In large baking dish, add browned beef, leaving 1 end empty.
- In this end, add sliced carrots.
- Layer onions on top of beef and carrots.
- Cover onions with sliced potato.
- Pour beef broth into dish and cover tightly with foil. Bake in slow oven at 250° to 300° for 3 to 4 hours.
