Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • F. G. salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Place brown sugar, salt, and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes to prevent crystals from forming around the edges of the pan.
  3. Remove from the heat and add vanilla.
  4. Store in a covered glass jar in a cool place.
