Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 1/4 c. uncooked quick cooking oatmeal
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 stick margarine

Instructions

  1. Place the cocoa in a saucepan and gradually add the milk, stirring well.
  2. Stir in the sugar and margarine and bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Boil for 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the oatmeal and peanut butter.
  5. Quickly drop by teaspoon on waxed paper.
  6. Let stand until firm.
  7. Makes about 25 cookies.
