Ingredients

  • 1 (21 to 24 oz.) box fudge brownie mix
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 3/4 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 quart fresh or frozen strawberries

Instructions

  1. Grease two 9-inch round cake pans and line with waxed paper, extending up the sides, then grease the paper.
  2. Prepare brownies according to the package instructions for a cake-like texture, then pour the batter into the prepared pans.
  3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, then remove from oven and let cool.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, cold water, and instant vanilla pudding mix until smooth.
  5. Fold in the thawed whipped topping until well combined.
  6. Slice fresh or frozen strawberries.
  7. Layer the cooled brownie bases with the pudding mixture and strawberries, then chill before serving.
