Ingredients

  • 30 oz. fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup toasted almonds, coarsely chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring 1-inch water to a boil in a large, deep skillet.
  2. Add Brussels sprouts, cover, and cook over medium-high heat for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain.
  3. Melt butter in the skillet.
  4. Add lemon juice, salt, almonds, and cooked Brussels sprouts.
  5. Stir over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes until the sprouts are hot.
