Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon powdered instant coffee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, over low heat, melt the butter.
  2. Stir in the sugar, whipping cream, and cocoa.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture boils.
  4. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the instant coffee and vanilla extract.
  6. Serve warm or cooled. Cover and refrigerate any leftovers.
