Ingredients

  • 1 tube saltine crackers
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 12 oz milk chocolate chips
  • Pam cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Line a standard size cookie sheet with built-up sides with aluminum foil.
  3. Lightly spray the foil with Pam cooking spray.
  4. Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer over the foil.
  5. In a saucepan, melt the butter and sugar together over medium heat.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Pour the hot butter mixture evenly over the saltine crackers.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the milk chocolate chips over the hot mixture.
  10. Allow the chocolate to melt for 2-3 minutes, then spread evenly with a spatula.
  11. Let cool completely until the chocolate is set, then break into pieces and serve.
