Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar (white or brown)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. orange extract

Instructions

  1. Cream butter until soft.
  2. Add sugar and beaten eggs; mix thoroughly.
  3. Mix and sift dry ingredients. Add to creamed butter and sugar.
  4. Add flavoring; mix well.
  5. Put into pastry bag; squeeze onto greased cookie sheet.
  6. May be dropped by teaspoonful.
  7. Bake in moderate oven (350° to 375°) for 12 to 15 minutes.
