Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, cut up
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • buttermilk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Melt 1 stick of butter in a flat casserole dish.
  2. Salt, pepper, and flour the chicken pieces.
  3. Place the chicken in the dish and bake for 30 minutes at 350°F.
  4. Turn the chicken over and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  5. Mix the cream of chicken soup with buttermilk.
  6. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  7. Cover and bake for 15 minutes longer.
  8. Serve with cooked rice.
