Cabbage And Lima Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 lb. can sauerkraut
  • 2 lb. head cabbage
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • warm water
  • 1 (1 lb.) can lima beans (undrained)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Rinse sauerkraut thoroughly; drain in colander.
  2. Shred cabbage; combine with sauerkraut.
  3. Cover with cold water; cook 1 hour.
  4. In a frypan, lightly brown flour; add enough warm water to make a thin sauce.
  5. Add to cabbage mixture.
  6. Add lima beans.
  7. Salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Cook 5 minutes longer.
