Ingredients

  • 1 large head cabbage, cut into pieces
  • 1 (8 oz.) can whole mushrooms
  • 3 large carrots, cut into pieces
  • 4 ribs celery, cut into pieces
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Place cabbage, mushrooms, carrots and celery in a 4-quart saucepan.
  2. Add water to cover.
  3. Add salt and pepper.
  4. Cook until all vegetables are done.
  5. Drain liquid and serve.
