Cabbage Cooked In Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 quart cabbage shredded
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons fat melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Add cabbage to milk and simmer for 2 minutes.
  2. Mix flour and fat and add a little of the hot milk.
  3. Stir into cabbage and cook for 3-4 minutes until thickened, stirring constantly.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. About 95 calories per serving.
