Ingredients

  • 1 head (2 lb.) cabbage, finely shredded
  • 4 medium onions, sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste (over each layer)
  • butter (to dot final layer)

Instructions

  1. Cover and steam on very low heat for 20 minutes or until tender.
  2. Serves 6.
