Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 3/4 ounces cakette cinnamon Imperials
  • 2 quarts apples, peeled and quartered

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, water, and cinnamon Imperials in a large saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer until Imperials dissolve.
  3. Add the peeled and quartered apples a quart at a time.
  4. Cook until the apples are firm but done.
  5. Pour the remaining syrup over the cooked apples.
