Candy Date Loaf
A rich, chewy candy loaf with sweetened condensed milk, dates, and nuts or coconut, perfect for sharing as a decadent treat or gift.

Instructions
- Cook sugar and milk until they form a soft ball in water.
- Add chopped dates and beat until thick.
- Add pecans and/or coconut.
- Have a tea towel soaked in cold water.
- Wring out the towel and spread the mixture on it.
- Roll the mixture in the towel into approximately a 1-inch rope.
- Let it cool, then slice.
