Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 2) can fruit pie mix (cherry, apple, blueberry, etc.)
  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Pour the fruit pie mix into an ungreased 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
  2. Sift the dry cake mix over the top of the fruit pie mix.
  3. Sprinkle the slivered almonds evenly over the cake mix.
  4. Pour the melted butter over the top.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
  6. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
