Ingredients

  • 1 whole young fryer less than 4 lb.
  • sesame oil
  • garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or oven to 375°F if no grill.
  2. Rinse the chicken and pat dry.
  3. Drizzle sesame oil over the chicken and message it in gently, including the cavity.
  4. Sprinkle garlic salt all over the chicken, including the cavity.
  5. Massage the seasoning into the skin.
  6. Place the chicken in a pie pan and add about 1 inch of water to the pan.
  7. Place the pan on the grill or in the oven.
  8. Grill for about 1 hour on low heat or bake for about 1 1/2 hours until the skin is crispy and juices run clear.
