- Put cheese curls in a large turkey roaster.
- Combine brown sugar, oleo, and Karo syrup in a saucepan and bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
- Add soda to the sugar mixture and stir well.
- Pour the sugar mixture over the cheese curls and stir to coat evenly.
- Bake at 250°F for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Dump out onto a counter and separate the mixture.
- Let cool, then store in an airtight container.
