Instructions
- Combine all ingredients, except cheese, in a Dutch oven. Bring to a boil.
- Cover; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.
- Transfer to a serving bowl.
- Remove bay leaves; sprinkle with cheese before serving.
- Yields 8 servings.
