Carrot Dumplings

Instructions
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- Cut in shortening.
- Add milk, carrots and parsley.
- Stir until flour is moist.
- Drop dumplings into simmering liquid in approximately 8 mounds (chicken or beef stock may be used).
- Cover and simmer for 15 minutes without lifting cover.
- Serves 8 people.
