Casey'S Whole Wheat Bread

Instructions
- Soften dry yeast in 1/4 warm water.
- Mix together yeast, brown sugar, salt and 2 1/2 cups lukewarm water.
- Add shortening and wheat flour; blend well.
- Add all-purpose flour, slowly.
- When all ingredients are mixed, turn onto a floured board or counter and knead until smooth and elastic.
- Dough should be soft.
- Place in a greased bowl and turn dough over, greasing top of dough ball.
