Celery Slaw

Crisp celery and fresh vegetables tossed in a creamy tangy dressing, ideal for light lunches or as a refreshing side dish at gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce
  • 1 small onion
  • 2/3 cup salad oil
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • cherry tomatoes
  • parsley sprigs

Instructions

  1. Slice celery into thin diagonal pieces.
  2. Slice onion into thin rings and place in a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, combine salad oil, sour cream, white wine vinegar, sugar, and paprika.
  4. Pour the dressing over the sliced vegetables and stir to combine.
  5. Cover and chill for 1 hour.
  6. Just before serving, stir the slaw well.
  7. Arrange in a serving bowl.
  8. Garnish with parsley sprigs and cherry tomatoes.
