Champion Chicken

Ingredients

  • 12 pieces chicken, serving size
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 soup can water
  • 4 oz. can of mushroom pieces, drained
  • 1 3/4 c. minute rice
  • 1 stick margarine

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry chicken, set aside.
  2. In saucepan combine soups, water, mushrooms, rice and margarine.
  3. Heat slowly and stir over moderate heat until thoroughly blended.
  4. Remove 1 cup mixture, set aside.
  5. Pour sauce into 9 X 13 baking dish, preferably glass. Place chicken on top.
  6. Pour reserved cup of sauce over chicken. Bake uncovered at 325° for 2 hours.
  7. Don't let rice dry out. Sprinkle with paprika before serving.
